Allison Miller is a drummer and composer whose critically acclaimed ensemble Boom Tic Boom blends the precision of classic drummer-led jazz with contemporary sonic exploration. Her band—featuring pianist Myra Melford, violinist Jenny Scheinman, clarinetist Ben Goldberg, cornetist Kirk Knuffke, and bassist Todd Sickafoose—has released five albums since its formation, with their 2019 album Glitter Wolf earning top-10 recognition from Downbeat and the LA Times. Miller is also known for her work with the all-star group ARTEMIS and has been recognized as a top jazz drummer by Downbeat Magazine.
