Anthony Almonte is a singer and percussionist born in June 1992 in the Bronx, New York. He began formal music training at age six and started performing live in New York at age ten. A two-time Grammy Award nominee, he has collaborated with major artists including Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Wynton Marsalis, and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, while also touring with Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul and Kid Creole and the Coconuts.
