British-born bassist Anthony Tidd is a Guggenheim Fellow and Grammy-winning musician who has performed and produced for The Roots, Steve Coleman, Lady Gaga, and Jill Scott. Based in Philadelphia since 1997, he founded the Creative Music Program at the Kimmel Center and leads the visionary ensemble Quite Sane, known for fusing jazz with hip-hop and funk.
