Arturo O'Farrill is a Grammy Award-winning pianist, composer, and bandleader, born in Mexico City and raised in New York City. He is the son of legendary composer Chico O'Farrill and the founder of the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra and the Afro Latin Jazz Alliance, through which he champions and evolves the rich tradition of Afro-Latin jazz.
