Born in Cuba and raised in Miami, Florida, Suarez's style is influenced by bebop, classic vocal jazz, and Cuban music.</cite> <cite index="33-5">His international performances include the Monterey Jazz Festival, the Aarhus Jazz Festival, and joining renowned saxophonists Vincent Herring and Eric Alexander on a tour of Japan.</cite> <cite index="33-6">His debut album, Introducing, came out on the Cellar Music label in 2025.</cite>
