About
Byron 'Wookie' Landham is a Philadelphia-based jazz drummer born in 1969 who became a top call on the Philly jazz scene by high school. He has performed and recorded with jazz legends including Joey DeFrancesco, Betty Carter, George Coleman, and Bobby Hutcherson. Currently an adjunct professor of jazz studies at Temple University, he continues to perform internationally and lead projects including The Landham Brothers with his brother Robert.
