Carmen Lundy is an award-winning jazz vocalist, composer, and arranger born in Miami, Florida in 1954. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Studio Music and Jazz from the University of Miami and moved to New York City in 1978, where she became known for her progressive bop and post-bop styling. Her 1985 debut album Good Morning Kiss spent 23 weeks at #3 on the Billboard Jazz Chart, and she has since released 16 albums as a leader, earning two Grammy nominations.
