Born November 1, 1959, in Lawton, Oklahoma, Conrad Herwig is a New York-based jazz trombonist and four-time Grammy nominee who has recorded 26+ albums as a leader. A master of both straight-ahead jazz and Afro-Caribbean fusion, he's performed with Miles Davis, Joe Henderson, Eddie Palmieri, and Tito Puente, while serving as Chair of Jazz Studies at Rutgers University.
