About
Corey A. Wallace is a Baltimore, MD native and trombonist educated at Pennsylvania State University (BMus in Trombone Performance) and Towson University (MM in Jazz/Commercial Music). He has been recognized as Best Trombonist by the Washington DC City Paper (2012) and by the NYC Reader Poll via Hot House Magazine/Jazzmobile (2019). Based in Brooklyn, Wallace leads the Corey Wallace DUBtet and works as a frequent guest with major artists and ensembles across jazz, Broadway, and popular music while also teaching at institutions including Jazz at Lincoln Center.
