Daniel Seavey (born April 2, 1999) is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer who first gained national attention on American Idol Season 14 (2015), placing in the Top 9. He rose to prominence as a founding member of multi-platinum boy band Why Don't We (2016-2025), which achieved over 6 billion global streams and two Top 10 Billboard 200 albums. Following the band's hiatus in 2022 and permanent dissolution in 2025, Seavey launched a successful solo career, releasing his debut EP 'Dancing In The Dark' (2023) and debut album 'Second Wind' (2025).
