David DeJesus is a Grammy Award-winning saxophonist and bandleader based in New York City with three decades of experience on the jazz scene. He leads the Boptet, an ensemble dedicated to celebrating jazz legends through new arrangements. DeJesus serves as Professor of Jazz Studies at SUNY Purchase and directs the Birdland Big Band.
