He has built a prolific career as a leader and sideman, recording over 30 albums as a leader, collaborating with major figures like Eric Alexander, Louis Hayes, and Marlena Shaw, and teaching at institutions including Berklee and SUNY Purchase. Hazeltine is also a founding member of the hard-bop ensemble One for All, contributing significantly to contemporary jazz’s vitality.
