David Sandman is a guitarist, composer, and music therapist originally from Seattle, Washington, now based in New York City. He studied music seriously beginning in 1995 under Seattle musicians like John Hanberry, Ev Stern, and Milo Peterson, and has led groups across styles including jazz, funk, swing, and Appalachian fiddle music. He also serves as a music therapist and educator, earning a master’s degree in music therapy from NYU in 2022.
