Born in Salzburg, Austria in 1990, Elias Stemeseder is an acclaimed pianist and electronic musician who moved to New York in 2015. He has become a creative force in contemporary jazz, known for his work as a sideman with Jim Black's trio and collaborations with John Zorn, Anna Webber, and Philipp Gropper. Winner of the 2023 German Jazz Award for Pianist/Keyboardist of the Year.
