Pianist and composer Emmet Cohen leads the Emmet Cohen Trio and created the Masters Legacy Series, establishing himself as a prominent figure in contemporary jazz through performances at major venues including Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Village Vanguard, and Birdland. A 2019 American Pianists Awards winner and Thelonious Monk Competition finalist, Cohen has recorded over ten albums as leader and collaborated with musicians including Ron Carter, Christian McBride, and Kurt Elling. He also developed "Live From Emmet's Place," a live-streamed Harlem venue that has reached millions of viewers worldwide.
