Native New Yorker Evan Schwam is a tenor saxophonist, flutist, and clarinetist who studied at Mannes College of Music's New School Jazz Program under jazz legends including Chico Hamilton and Junior Mance. He was a permanent member of NEA Jazz Master Chico Hamilton's ensemble Euphoria from 2000-2013, appearing on multiple recordings and performing at major festivals. Currently, he performs regularly around NYC with his quartet and teaches part-time at New School Jazz.
