Born in Illinois in 1978 and raised in Nebraska, Frank Basile is one of New York's most in-demand baritone saxophonists. Since moving to New York in 2001 as part of Juilliard's inaugural Jazz Studies program, he has performed with The Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, Dizzy Gillespie All-Star Big Band, Dave Holland Big Band, and many others. He leads his own ensembles and has released three recordings as a leader.
