Born in Greenwich, Connecticut in 1968, Gary Versace is a versatile jazz keyboardist and accordionist who has become one of the most in-demand musicians on the contemporary jazz scene since relocating to New York City in 2002. He holds a master's degree in music performance from the Eastman School of Music and previously served as a tenured associate professor at the University of Oregon. Versace has appeared on numerous Grammy-nominated recordings and won multiple awards including the Jazz Journalists' Association's Best Instrumentalist award for accordion.
