Brooklyn-born saxophonist, flutist, and bass clarinetist who discovered music at age 9 and performed professionally by 11. After studying East Asian philosophy at Princeton, he worked in Tokyo before being discovered at the Tokyo Jazz Festival by Melody Gardot, launching international tours and Grammy-nominated recordings. Now NYC-based, he collaborates with jazz legends and leads his own projects.
