Liam Sutcliffe is a trumpet player from Moorestown, New Jersey, who performs in the Philadelphia/New York metro area. He began playing trumpet at age 10, studied jazz from high school through college (Rutgers Mason Gross after a year at Manhattan School of Music), and has won awards including the 2022 New Jersey Jazz Society Scholarship and the 2020 US Army Blues Solo Competition. His style is grounded in bebop and jazz tradition, with influences like Roy Hargrove, Tom Harrell, Kenny Dorham, and Joe Magnarelli.
