Luke Stewart is a composer-improviser, bassist, and multi-instrumentalist known for his work as a soloist and leader of the Exposure Quintet. Co-founder of the liberation-oriented free-jazz collective Irreversible Entanglements, he has been recognized by DownBeat as one of the '25 for the Future' artists shaping the artistic landscape. Beyond performing, Stewart co-runs CapitalBop, a DC-based jazz nonprofit, and teaches at The New School.
