Nick Biello is a saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist and composer based in New York, known for his emotionally resonant, post-bop-inflected sound. He earned a Master of Music at Manhattan School of Music and has studied with Jackie McLean, George Garzone, Steve Wilson and others. His debut album ‘Vagabond Soul’ (2017) and subsequent projects have earned him recognition such as winning the Julius Keilwerth 2014 International Saxophone Idol competition; he performs, teaches (at New Jersey City University and The New School), and arranges for a wide range of artists.
