About
Noah Garabedian (born 1985 in Berkeley, California) is a jazz double bassist, composer, and educator of Armenian descent. He earned a BA in Ethnomusicology at UCLA and a Master of Music Performance from New York University, and has released several albums as leader and with the trio collective Ember. He teaches at The New School and the Stanford Jazz Workshop, and has held residencies internationally through Fulbright and other programs.
