About
Born in Paris, France, Stefan Vasnier began classical piano studies at age six at the Paris Conservatory and later turned to jazz, studying under Barry Harris in Paris, Rome and New York. After relocating to New York in 2009 and working with Sophia Rosoff, he has built a career performing widely across Europe and New York venues such as Carnegie Hall, Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola and Smalls Jazz Club. His dual background in classical and jazz gives him a unique voice in the modern jazz piano scene.
