Steve Johns is a dynamic and versatile drummer who has been a major presence on the New York City and international jazz scenes since the early 1980s. Born in Boston in 1960, he studied at the New England Conservatory of Music and has performed and recorded with virtually the 'Who's Who' of the Jazz World, appearing on over 70 albums. He is also an accomplished educator and co-leader of recording projects.
