Tierney Sutton is a nine-time Grammy-nominated jazz vocalist who emerged in the 1990s with a fresh approach to jazz singing blending impeccable musicianship and emotional depth. Since 1993, she has fronted The Tierney Sutton Band, an incorporated partnership with pianist Christian Jacob, bassists Trey Henry and Kevin Axt, and drummer Ray Brinker. Raised in Milwaukee and currently based in Los Angeles and Paris, she is recognized as one of the most-lauded jazz vocalists of her generation.
