The Latona Brothers

The Latona Brothers, co-led by guitarist Andrew Latona and drummer/pianist Christopher Latona, draw from their upbringing in the Washington, D.C. area, where they absorbed gospel, jazz, and go-go music traditions. Andrew studied at SUNY Purchase under guitarist Vic Juris, bringing those influences into the ensemble's sound. Based in Brooklyn, the brothers create music that reflects their diverse musical roots.
