About

Founded in 2014 by touring musicians Richard Julian, Arthur Kell, and Rosita Késs, Bar LunÀtico has steadily built a reputation as one of Brooklyn’s most beloved live-music spots. The founders' common love for real music venues, intimate lounges, and global rhythms shaped LunÀtico’s mission. The intimate space features warm lighting, exposed brick walls, and a small stage that creates an up-close connection between performers and audience. The atmosphere is relaxed and conversational, encouraging a community feel where music lovers can enjoy dinner alongside live performances. These days the programming is active nearly every night: two live sets begin around 9:00 PM and 10:15 PM. The décor is narrow and cozy, with mismatched tables, a long bar, and soft, low lighting—all contributing to a close-up, listening-friendly experience. Key features include a warm and intimate atmosphere with communal seating and a back patio, eclectic programming often with international artists, and a no-reservation policy with first-come, first-serve seating.
